- Q: How do I measure my limb?
A: Measuring your limb can be done in 4 locations. Calf, Thigh, Forearm or Bicep. We recommend you use a soft tape that can easily wrap around your limb. If that is not available, use a string, mark it, and then compare to a measuring tape. For additional information, please reference our sizing tab located at the top of the page.
- Q: How do I know if it's too tight?
A: SOLO products are designed with the patient's comfort and safety in mind. The diameter of our products reduces the ability to put on a size that is too small and would cause the patient to be uncomfortable. Sometimes using a size larger size may increase comfort until a smaller size is optimal. We always recommend the patient talk to their clinician for proper sizing.
- Q: What is the best way to wash it?
A: SOLO Bandage® are one time use and should not be reused. SOLO Shrinker® can be machine washed and hung dry. SOLO Tube™ can also be machine washed and hung dry. Do not use bleach when laundering SOLO Shrinker® or SOLO Tube™.
- Q: How long does it take to put on?
A: The SOLO Bandage® is applied the same way every time in 30 seconds or less. Evenly distributed compression is achieved by the amputee with every application, eliminating the need for multi-step wrapping techniques or taping.
- Q: Will it slide off?
A: SOLO products are designed to stay in place without the use of tape or securing devices.
- Q: How long does it last?
A: SOLO Bandage® are one time use and should not be reused. Lifespan of SOLO Shrinker® and SOLO Tube™ have greatly outlasted similar products. Overall lifespan will vary due to length of use and laundering.

Q. How is pressure measured?
A. Compression testing has been confirmed by a PicoPress sub-bandage pressure monitor. SOLO products apply the appropriate amount of pressure evenly over the limb while stationary and dynamic.
- Q. What is it made from?
A. All SOLO products are Not Made With Natural Rubber Latex (latex free) and 100% made in the U.S.A.
- Q. How many amputations occur each year in the United States?
A. 185k amputations are done every year in the just United States, averaging 507 amputation preformed daily.
- Q: Will a SOLO Shrinker® help with my phantom limb pain?
